Orthomedico has come a long way since its establishment in 2005. It all started as a simple but solid endeavor. The path we have gone through is truly not something I have expected.
As the founding members of this company, I am honored and amazed by all the achievements and accomplishments we have made over the years. I still remember back then when we were just a division in Tokyo Medical and Dental university and there were only a few of us. As food innovation was not as matured then, we struggled a lot and had to work very hard to form networks and find potential collaborators. Despite so, our desire to obtain correct and unadulterated “ORTHO” data and using them to contribute to the society through food science kept us moving.
Since then, we have evolved enormously to a medium-size company with our own office and numerous clients both locally and internationally. Areas of our business have also expanded greatly to 7 in total, including regulatory affairs, market research and international business. In spite of the success we had, we are always grateful and remind ourselves that all the achievements we have today owe to the many partners and acquaintances that helped us on the way. At Orthomedico Inc., we believe that treasuring them and not taking advantage of them for our own ends but to help and collaborate is an important virtue.
Brought into full swing by the food with function system that was introduced by the government of Japan in 2015, food innovation and researches are expected to continue to grow in the years to come. We will continue to spare no effort in proving the safety and efficacy of food products as we path the way in food innovation.
